St. Bernard Farms Pumpkin Patch

We have been wanting to visit St. Bernard Farms in Clovis, New Mexico which does Halloween events during, you guessed it, Halloween season.

So one fine day in October, off to St. bernard Farms we went. It wasn't a planned trip, here's my story of why we went there.

My youngest son wanted to go to their school's carnival but my husband had work on that day. We thought the carnival was from 5:30pm to 7:30pm but we were wrong and we found out the hard way.
Around 6pm i decided to bring my kids to the schools carnival, thinking it was a breeze walk, i decided to walk to the carnival. Well it wasn't, we arrived at the carnival just about a few minutes til 7pm, and i thought it's fine, we will still have 30 minutes to have fun, boy i was wrong, it actually closes at 7pm!

My youngestgot so upset and would'nt stop crying so my husband promised him that we will take him to the pumpkin patch the next day.

He kepts his promise.

The place is open on saturdays from 1pm to 9pm and on Sundays from 2pm to 8pm.

Entrance fees to the farm:
General MAZE admission

Wooden tokens can be purchased at the entrance or at the country store.
These were $1 each.

 Typical carnival games

$1 ride around the little farm

Huge chess pieces and board is a cool attraction

Simple fun, simple joys! They even named these horse swings

Monster inc made out of hay

Happy Halloween!

Zip line! I had a blast, i want to do this again when we go back to the farm.

It was a day well spent with our kids. Even though we were there a only a few hours, it was worth it.
They should add a lot more attractions and features to make it a place to go to during halloween or better yet, open it up for the whole year! Clovis, NM definitely needs a place for kids and kids at heart to go to and if they work on this farm and expand it, this will definitely be a place to go to in Clovis.

Hopefully there will be more pictures to come when my son goes to his school's field trip in the next week or so.

Stay tuned, Joy.
