Berna Beach Hotel and resort

Summer's here and it's finally time to make those plans to beat (or take advantage) of the heat. Looking for a place to spend a few days at without costing an arm and a leg? Tired of the over-crowded Tagaytay and it's hot spots? Then it's time to head on over to Batangas and check out this resort i discovered.

This relaxing place is called BernaBeach and it's located in Nasugbu, Batangas. Nasugbu is popular to people on the look-out for nearby beaches, without having to travel via plane or ferry. There's a strip of beachfront resorts located in Nasugbu and finding one with enough breathing room is a dime a dozen.

From Tagaytay, it should take you about an hour to get here depending on how fast you're driving and the traffic, we're lucky we didn't run into any traffic on our way there, give or take a few slow moving trucks that are impossible to overtake.

Enter BernaBeach on your GPS device and it's going to tell you how to get there, and how far away you are til you reach it.

We got to our destination around 9am, check-in time is 2pm and check-out is 12noon the next day, my husband asked if we could check in early and they said yes, that was pretty nice of them. We stayed in a couples room which costs 3,500 pesos for an overnight stay, not bad at all. Rates for the other rooms can be found on this post as well.
Bathroom (first picture above) was nice and clean. Complimentary toiletries and towels were available.
The bed was two twin beds put together to make it one big bed, they recommended this room since we have kids.
Shower with hot and cold water.

The air conditioner was cool and made it much more comfortable, nice and spacious room but the Television was kinda small.

Room rates

They have a little refreshments stand near the picnic area, prices are affordable.
There's a bar, a karaoke machine near the location of the kubo's
Don't expect white sand, it's more of a grayish black color, but it still feels good to the touch, almost the same color as my backpack.
Here's the refreshments stand i was telling you about.
Second floor, where we stayed at.
They also rent these out if you want to try. Banana boats are 4,000 pesos per hour, ATV's are 2,000 per hour and the Jet ski will cost you 3,500 pesos per hour, whew!
Safety first, you can see alot of these around the resort.
 Videoke machine.
Here's the picnic area, i honestly think these tables should have an umbrella over them, it gets really hot here.

Having fun in their kiddie pool
The water was nice and cool even if it was hot outside
 Lifeguards on duty
There's their restaurant in the background, and part of their full size pool.
 Another point of view.
Calm and relaxing.

Here's what we had for lunch, Sisig and Sinigang na baboy. I didn't get to take a picture of what we had for dinner but it was also Sinigang na Baboy with Crispy pata. Delicious with generous servings.

The beach
These gates will take you to the beach.

 Jet ski's for rent
Every time you step out of these gates, expect 2 or 3 vendors running up to you, every time.
May not be the best looking beach, but it's pretty nice.
BernaBeach Resort.

It was a nice, relaxing stay, very easy to get to and the trip we made was worth it.
So if you're looking for a nice place to spend your summer vacation, i recommend this one.
